You should get familiar with editing a Mediawiki page.

In order to coordinate your work, please indicate which section you'd be translating. It is on first come, first serve basis, and each section can only be translated by one person.

Tips and tricks

• Uploading images: All figures in your text should be uploaded to the website and displayed at the relevant section of the text you're translating. When uploading, for the Նիշքի նոր անվանում` write a short and descriptive name for the figure, and for Նկարագրություն` write a description of the figure, mention the source where you got the figure from and include a link to it; links can be included by typing [www.urlOfWebsite.com Name of link], and also include the following category [[Կատեգորիա:Մաթեմատիկա]].

• Displaying images: As for figures, upload the image on the website and include it in your text.

Since the images in Euclid are centered in the text and lack frames, please use the following format for your images for the sake of consistency:

200px controls the sizing and you can tweak it to achieve the desired size. Try to keep it proportional to Euclid's text and 200px is a recommended starting point.

• Mathematical expressions: Here is an example of how to display mathematical equations (you would be using the Latex format):

• Footnotes: If you have footnotes appearing in your text, for example using a cross above a letter, instead of the cross inside your text include <ref>''translated text of footnote''</ref> and then at the end of your Book, place:

and the footnotes will automatically be numbered and displayed at the end of your book, with links from within your text.

• If the pages you're translating start in the middle of another postulate/section: do translate that section on your page. Don't worry about footnotes from previous sections that are appearing on the first page of your translation.
